FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS?

  1. Do I need a manual license?

    No you do not need a manual license, just a basic understanding of the manual transmission and mainly 1st and 2nd gear driving. We cannot teach manual driving on the day.

  2. What do I need to bring?

    Only your license and long sleeved shirt, full length pants with enclosed footwear. Yes you can bring your own helmet but we provide all equipment required.

  3. How old do I have to be to drive?

    There is a minimum age requirement of 16 years old to drive the drift vehicles.

  4. How old do I have to be for a passenger ride?

    There is a minimum age requirement of 8 years old to be a passenger for a Drift Battle Lap. For the main track experience it is 12 years old.

  5. Do you still run the day when it is raining?

    Yes the best drifters were born in the rain, we only cancel an event due to track flooding.

  6. Where is the drift experience events held?

    We use three different locations. An easy way to check is jump on to our calendar page.

  7. What cars do we drive?

    We run a fleet of vehicles from V8 commodores to Nissan Skylines, all purpose built. On the day we will allocate the clients accordingly. Please note we cannot guarantee a particular car on the day and will depend on availability and seat set up. But we can guarantee some fun and spins.

  8. What cars are used for Passenger Laps?

    We use V8 drift cars for all passenger experiences if there is a car issue we can utilise the Skylines but only on short track.

  9. How do Passenger Laps run with seating?

    We use V8 drift cars for all passenger experiences if there is a car issue we can utilise the Skylines but only on short track. Our V8 are designed to seat three passengers at one time an Australian first and the ONLY experience in Australia that offers this. It means you can drift with your family and friends! We generally use the front seat for kids, shorter customers, people who suffer from motion sickness or with disabilities so we can keep an eye on them. Don’t be discouraged by the rear seats, as we are going sideways vision is not limited. To top it off the rear seats are further behind the swing pendulum, which means, the rear seats get thrown around more than the front seat.

  10. Can spectators come and watch?

    Yes spectators can come and watch, if you're planning to bring along additional spectators please bring along a camp chair just in case. We can’t cater for all friends and family.

  11. Is there food and amenities on site?

    Yes there is a canteen on site but we cannot guarantee this will be open on the day of your experience. We recommend to bring a small esky for spectators, we provide cold drinks to DRIVERS ONLY.

    Toilets are open on site all day and located only 50 m away from the experience.

  12. Can I take photos?

    Yes you can take photos behind the red and yellow lines, we don’t allow clients on the cement barrier walls for insurance and safety reasons. Please ensure all children stay behind the red and yellow line also. We do offer in car footage from go pros of the experience, available for purchase on the day.
